M45la France – finaliste en 2012 mais Italie vainqueur

The Dubler Cup is for the men’s 45 age category and has a place in the competition’s history as the original seniors team event, having first been contested back in 1958.

The trophy was donated by Switzerland’s Leon Dubler, the inaugural President of the Veterans International Tennis Association, and was first presented to the victorious Italian team.

In 2012, the Dubler Cup was held from 6-11 February in San Diego, USA.  Third seeds Italy beat top seeds France in the final to gain revenge for their 2010 final defeat.  The Italian team was made up of Paolo Pambianco, Enrico Casadei, Giovanni Pacchioni and Massimiliano Sirchio.
